Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuges estimates and detect trends in average overwinter survival rates for adult least auklets (LEAU) on St. George Island. Annual survival of least auklets apparently covaries with broad-scale climate patterns (e.g., Jones et al. 2002) and is intended to provide insight into causes of population change.Record of resighted birds collected at as many days as possible during the early part of the breeding season (before egg laying to early chick-rearing; generally mid-May through late June). The resights table relates to the events table on the parentglobalid field (globalid in events), with many resight records per each event.
<purpose>Records of resights for LEAU at St. George Island.
