Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuges estimates and detect trends in average overwinter survival rates for adult least auklets (LEAU) on St. George Island. Annual survival of least auklets apparently covaries with broad-scale climate patterns (e.g., Jones et al. 2002) and is intended to provide insight into causes of population change.Event level data for AMNWR Least Auklet Survival Data. An event is an action that occurs at some location during some time. There are four types of events represented in this data: New or replacement banding, resight, bird found dead, or a lost band. The events table relates to the captures and resights tables on the globalid field (parentglobalid in related tables), with a one-to-many relationship.
<purpose>Event level information for AMNWR Least Auklet survival survey.
