Abstract
Full Abstract:
Data on breeding status of adult common murre specimens collected at sea near colonies in the Gulf of Alaska and Bering Sea during summers of 1991-1996. Adult age status determined from plumage and/or absence of bursa. Breeding status determined from brood patch, graded (0-5) by stage of development, with 0= non-breeding. Proportion of at-sea non-breeding adults calculated as the number of non-breeders divided by the total number of breeders and non-breeders.
