Process Description:
Points were established using a stratified random sampling method (portions of the methodology were derived from the USGS/NPS Vegetation Mapping Program's Accuracy Assessment Procedures). Point coverage created using an in-house developed AML using certain criteria for point placement. During the field work, vegetation data at each point was recorded using standard NVCS Plot Point collection form.
